These posts are a Heavy Duty option for suspending sports (and other) netting products. A 1 piece heavy duty steel product, they are designed to be concreted into the ground as part of a permanent setup.
Being a sturdy and rigid design once installed, they are ideal for:
- Holding up larger, heavier grade netting products such as Batting Cages and Sports Cages
- Holding up netting where you wish to attach a top wire support cable (in between 2 posts) to create a sliding movement.
- Backyards and facilities where a permanent installation is possible and you are looking for a rigid and high quality finish
- Netting installs where a large span is required (without the need for any significant bracing of posts)
Although sold as a 4m length post, you should consult with your local builder/handyman as to the required depth the post will need to be concreted into the ground. As a guide, you may opt to concrete 1m below ground level, enabling 3m above ground.
There are other endless possibilities for usage at your discretion related to all manners of netting products.
The strength of these poles would allow balls to be kicked into them at a reasonable velocity without damaging the setup. They are a considerable “step-up” from our range of other semi-permanent post options.
Transporting 4m Heavy Duty Steel posts around the country at economical pricing is no easy exercise. Please note that although care is taken in packaging, in rare circumstances posts may require minor touch-ups with black paint upon arrival. All posts are individually wrapped in Bubble Wrap and a thick Poly Bag.
For permanent installations (when selecting the 10m length netting), some customers prefer the added stability and strength of an additional 3rd support post.
